November 2000                  CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) established

April 2002                            CC-Link/LT Protocol Specification is released
                                              This new bit-level protocol is compatible with CC-Link
                                              and provides for more efficient sensor level control
                                              This is the second network in the CC-Link Integrated
                                              Open-Technology Network family

July 2002 CC-Link is exhibited at Semicon West 2002 (USA)

August 2002                        First CC-Link Conformance Test facility outside
                                              of Japan is established at CLPA - North American
                                              HQ in the United States

November 2002                  Version 2.0 (V2) of CC-Link Protocol Specification
                                              is released. This new version increases reception
                                              and transmission data capacity by eight fold
