CC-Link Safety Protocol Specification is released.  This new Safety protocol is compatible with CC-Link and provides for approved Safety network control.  This is the third network in the CC-Link Integrated Open-Technology Network family.

Version 2.0 (V2) of CC-Link Protocol Specification is released.  This new version increases reception and transmission data capacity by eight fold.

First CC-Link Conformance Test facility outside of Japan is established at CLPA - Americas in the United States.

CC-Link/LT Protocol Specification is released.  This new bit-level protocol is compatible with CC-Link and provides for more efficient sensor level control.  This is the second network in the CC-Link Integrated Open-Technology Network family.
